Happy Halloween
One of Troy's co-workers asked when I would be making cookies again. This was a couple weeks ago. These are Sam's cookies. I hadn't made the one with his name on it yet!

Dalilah
With life so busy we don't always get to see our loved ones. This is one special girl to me. Not only is she my youngest cousin, but I was given the honor to also be her Godmother.

Done!
It's not perfect. But that's me. I'm not perfect and nothing I do is perfect. But it will taste good. That's what's important!

Cake Flowers
I am making a cake for my grandma's 80th birthday. It is the largest cake I've ever made. It is a 1/2 sheet, I'm still debating on one layer or two and probably will up until it comes to put it together and whether or not the layers break on me. Here's step one. The flowers.

You Have Got To Love Double Coupon Day!
Rainbow was doubling an unlimited number of coupons today, not just 5 like the normally do. Besides the fact that some things were pretty picked over, I still managed to save almost $30 tonight!

Tea not Coffee
I am a coffee girl. I love my coffee! But I also love tea. Especially when I'm not feeling good. In the evening it is usually camomile because it is decaf so I can sleep at night. TeaSource is where I go to get it. I think I am becoming as big of a tea snob as a coffee snob. But, a lot of my pickiness in my tea comes from the fact that they use berry leaves in a lot if teas. Can't have that now can we?!

What's That?
I came home with his book the other day and Troy asked, "what's that?" He's not used to me reading an actual book. He's used to me reading books on my Nook.

Something for Me
This past week I've kind of been feeling like I'm doing a lot for everyone else and not so much for me. So today has been a "Do what I want to do" kind of day. I did a little sewing. Drank some coffee then some tea. Did some reading. And went for a pedicure. It was kind of nice doing something just for me!

Where Did the Summer Go?!
So I realize I have completely screwed up this 365 project. I've taken a lot of pictures between July and October, but it hasn't been every day and I sure haven't been posting them. It's been a busy summer, we've done everything from landscaping and grilling to boating and Isaboo's first adventures in the lake, which she HATED by the way! We still have some work to do on the landscaping, but it
will have to wait until we have some extra money. the project grew to a
little bigger than I had planned for.
My life at work this summer has revolved around the Nagios World Conference North America, it was a fun conference and we got a lot of compliments on how well it went. I've already started planning for next year.
We're getting things ready for winter and I have started a little bit of Christmas shopping. I have the biggest cake I've ever made coming up next weekend. It's is my Grandma's 80th birthday and my mom asked if I would make the cake. I'm hoping it goes well. I made the funnest I've ever made for Russ in August. It was World of Warcraft themed.
Here are some of the photos that I've taken this summer.
As I said, it's been a busy summer and first half of fall. There's still a lot of things to do before the end of the year. Hopefully I can get back on track with this project!
